Family and Community

Our Family Community Dinner pilot program events bring
together different families in the same community.

  • We do this because:
  • Family dinners are known to improve children’s vocabulary, build resilience, self-esteem.
  • Normalising healthy parenting experiences encompasses a variety of practices and interactions that promote the physical, emotional, and social well-being of both parents and children.
  • There is substantial research linking family dinners and shared meals with positive outcomes for children and teens.
  • Several studies have shown associations between regular family dinners and decreased risks of various negative outcomes.
  • Studies have shown that having strong social connections and good relationships keeps us healthier and happier as we go through life.
  • Other factors, such as family dynamics, communication, and overall family functioning may also play a role in promoting positive outcomes for children, teens and their families and caregivers.

Our commitment to making a positive impact in the lives of families is unwavering, as is our dedication to building a stronger and more connected community
for everyone.
